The base of the event is Innsbruck. It is easily accessible by car, train (Innsbruck Hbf) and plane (Innsbruck Airport or Munich Airport which is about 3 hours by bus). Where shall I stay during the event? Any recommendations for accommodation? 2017-11-22T13:42:47+00:00

We recommend staying in Innsbruck, close to the centre (use Triumphpforte/Leopoldstr. 2 as reference). Furthermore, it might be useful to look for private accommodation options like Airbnb. Maybe you can find fellow participants to share an apartment with in our Facebook Group. Please be aware that are several other events in Innsbruck on the same weekend and hotels book quickly.

Do I need to bring my own skiing/snowboarding equipment? 2017-11-22T13:43:48+00:00

For all those who have their own stuff, we recommend to bring it with you. If you don’t, you can easily rent it at a discounted price (-10%) from our local partner shop Die Börse . They can provide you with not only skis, snowboards and boots, but also with the right clothes, gloves, goggles and protection.

What else should I bring? 2017-11-22T13:44:24+00:00

As Skinnovation takes place in the Alps and also on the slopes, please bring suitable clothing. Please also keep in mind that one evening will be spent in an igloo at the Nordkette on 1905m above sea level – a really cool place (warm shoes are strongly recommended)!

Furthermore, if you own traditional clothing like Dirndl or Lederhosen feel free to bring them for our first Tyrolean evening.
